Valve recently announced they'd be shutting down one of the largest skins marketplaces. Here are some reactions the community.

Obviously I don’t like the recent update because of what it entails. That being said, fair play to @csgo_dev - whatever happened to not burning the hand that feeds you? Death of Skins Betting

Many see this as the beginning of the end for skins betting. OPSkins served a key role in the economy, allowing users and betting site operators to turn skins into cash. With their shut down, there will be a significant drop in action. But OPSkins wasn't the only game in town. Users will certainly switch to alternatives. It'll be interesting to see how Valve reacts.

It seems reasonable that in the coming months and years, more restrictions will be placed on skins betting, ultimately putting an end do this unregulated, unlicensed practice.
